Te-Moana-nui-a-kiwa is the great ocean of Kiwa, the Pacific ocean.

From water springs life! Like water, the womb symbolises new beginnings, fertility and womaness … it is a place of endless mystery representing what is there, but cannot be seen.

Deep within the ocean's expanse contains in itself the female qualities and energies in the form of Hinemoana. She is the ocean water personified in female form, her liquid womb nurtures all ocean living creatures.
