2. InnoNative Market 2018
27 October | Whangarei | 10am - 2pm
InnoNative Market showcases Maori culture and the future of Maori in business and social enterprise. It's a great annual event which has an awesome cultural atmosphere and vibe! I'll be there promoting my NIU cards, so if you'd like to view a sample, or would just like to have a little korero about them, then this is a great opportunity to do that. I'll also do a promo giveaway on the day, and will hopefully look into offering private readings. So keep an eye out on my FACEBOOK page for details. Hope to see you there! :)x
3. Voices of my Tupuna Exhibition
2 - 8 July | Ponsonby Central | Auckland
I'd like to thank those very awesome people who bought (or who were gifted) my artwork during my recent Matariki exhibition. Arohanui for your tautoko and for openly sharing your own stories with me. I hope your taonga brings you inspiration for years to come.
And to others who decided to walk through the door and have a bit of a kōrero, thank you for bringing your energies into my sacred space by sharing your thoughts and Wairua with me. It was a pretty exhausting experience overall, but one worth every moment. I believe we meet people for a reason so I hope the artwork, and perhaps some of the things I talked about, resonated with you in some way or another.
I'd also like to give a big hearty arohanui thank you to Newton Central Primary School for visiting my exhibition every day. I loved Having all of the tamariki present because it really lifted the Wairua of the occasion, especially when they sang their waiata ... each one was a special and beautiful gift to me and to my Tūpuna.
The exhibition is officially closed and I have taken down the remaining Paypal buttons from my website. However I will have artworks for sale in the future, maybe leading up to Christmas, but definitely during Matariki next year ... so keep an eye out on my FB and Instagram pages for updates.
Thank you again for the wonderful support and aroha expressed during my exhibition.
Ngā manaakitanga ki a koutou katoa :)x
